Krispy Kreme have new donuts out for Xmas! Are they worth it? Yes, of course they are, they’re Krispy Kreme donuts. In my opinion the best donuts.
I recently went along and filled a box of 6, I got mainly new donuts however I couldn’t resist a couple classics. There are three Christmas themed donuts and two new luxury donuts, which were out in November.
The first is the Santa donut is filled with the classic Krispy Kreme and then there is the Rudolf reindeer ring with caramel icing and lastly there is the festive sprinkles.
The new luxury donuts are the Ultimate Salted Caramel (which I am still to try) and the Ultimate chocolate brownie. The chocolate brownie is very similar to the chocolate dreamcake just a bit more decadent.
There is a thick chocolate ganache topping with chocolate shavings and sugar balls. It is filled with a brownie batter filling which I think is more of a brownie cream filling. The donut is a bit sickly but very tasty. If you are craving an indulgent chocolate treat, go for one of these.
I wouldn’t head to Krispy Kreme solely for these new donuts as they are quite similar to what they already do but if your close by they’re a nice festive option.
